Make Your OWN Marinating Bags

Grab your favorite seasoning from Muddy Trail Jerky.

Gather some ingredients:

  • Heavy duty zip top bag

  • Olive Oil (check directions on the packet of seasoning for any additional ingredients you may need: in this case, we used oil, vinegar, 1 raw egg)

  • 2 lbs of meat, fish, chicken, vegetables

  • Pictured is our Firehouse Chicken BBQ Seasoning on chicken strips placed on kabobs & grilled.

Open the bag and place 2-3 Tablespoons of the seasoning of choice.

Add 1-2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil (or your favorite)

Add the meat, cut, cubed, sliced, stripped, or whole to the bag.

Seal the bag! Squish it around to mix and get it all seasoned.

Toss in refrigerator if using within 2-3 days or freeze until ready to use.

Grill on Medium - Medium High heat to sear outside, then grill on medium until internal temperature is 165 degrees for chicken, 155 degrees for meat. Veggies can be cooked until desired tenderness.

Serve immediately with everything else you like!
